Established as a business in 2023, Barnstable Bisque's signature Lobster Bisque has been a staple in our family for decades. Our founder, started the business in her home kitchen, and has since expanded to our local commercial kitchen, growing into a thriving woman owned, small business.

Our founder, Linnea, and her husband Jeff met while studying at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. They were both Culinary Arts majors, and good friends, but even though they held a special place in each other's hearts, life took Jeff in one direction and Linnea in another. 17 years from their first meeting in college they wen
Our founder, Linnea, and her husband Jeff met while studying at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. They were both Culinary Arts majors, and good friends, but even though they held a special place in each other's hearts, life took Jeff in one direction and Linnea in another. 17 years from their first meeting in college they went on their 1st date, and sparks really started to fly. Since reuniting and with 3 children between them, they've been going strong for almost 20 years.
A desire for a "side hustle" and as a way to spend time with family, Linnea founded Barnstable Bisque in 2023.
